Hi! It’s CEE
Travel has been a big part of my healing lately. There’s something about being somewhere completely new, experiencing a different culture, trying foods you’ve never had, meeting new people, or finding a place so beautiful that it makes you stop and be still. Travel has taught me how to slow down, reconnect with myself, and see life from a softer perspective. The more I’ve traveled, the more I’ve realized that sometimes getting away from everything familiar is exactly what you need to find your way back to yourself.
Some of you may know me from my wellness blends or my music, but this feels like a different chapter. One where I get to share more of the places, experiences, and moments that have been shaping me along the way. I’ve always been drawn to things that feel authentic and a little harder to find, and that’s especially true when I travel. I’m not usually looking for the most popular restaurant, the busiest beach, or the place that’s all over Instagram. I want to know where the locals go. I want to find the quiet road, the hidden trail, the secluded beach, the lake surrounded by trees, the little restaurant you almost miss, or the stay where you can wake up and feel completely surrounded by nature.
The places that stay with me the longest are usually the ones that feel sacred. Not necessarily because they’re famous or considered spiritual, but because of how they make you feel when you’re there. They’re peaceful, lowkey, uncrowded, and far enough away from the noise that you can actually breathe. Places where you can sit by the water for hours, walk through nature without seeing another person, watch the sunset without a crowd around you, or simply be still. Those experiences have become a huge part of what travel means to me, and they’re the kind of places I want to share here.
This space is a collection of those experiences from my travels, both close to home and around the world. I’ll be sharing the hidden gems I’ve found, the places I’ve stayed, the food I’ve loved, the beaches and trails worth getting to, and all the little details that can make a trip feel that much more special. I’ll share when I went, what I packed, what I loved, what I’d skip, and anything I wish I knew before going. But more than just telling you where to go, I want to share the feeling of each place and what made it worth remembering.
Because for me, travel isn’t really about checking destinations off a list. It’s about the moments in between. The swim when you’re the only person in the water. The meal you randomly stumble upon and can’t stop thinking about. The view that makes you put your phone down. The conversations with strangers you’ll probably never see again. The places that quiet your mind and remind you how much beauty exists outside of your everyday life. Those are the moments I want to collect and share.
I also want to be mindful of how I share these places. Some of the most special places I’ve found are special because they haven’t been overrun with tourists, and I want to respect that. Not every location needs to be geotagged, and not every hidden gem needs to become the next viral destination. If I’m sharing a place that feels truly sacred or untouched, I may keep certain details private. I hope anyone who visits these spaces does the same. Respect the land, support local, leave no trace, and most importantly, leave the place as beautiful and peaceful as you found it.
This is just the beginning. I’ll be sharing travel guides, vlogs, soulful stays, retreats, hidden gems, food, nature, and experiences from around the world as I continue to explore. If you’re someone who craves travel that feels a little more intentional, a little more peaceful, and a lot more connected to nature, I hope you find something here that inspires you to go somewhere new and maybe come back to yourself in the process.
